Abstract

Air permeable sheet (45) is interposed between second substratum (33) and flexible sheet (25). The flexible sheet (25) adheres to a surface of stage (12) around first substratum (32) and the second substratum (33). Space (47) for accommodating the first substratum (32) and the second substratum (33) is established between the stage (12) and the flexible sheet (25). When the gas is suctioned from the space (47), the flexible sheet (25) comes to adhere to the surface of the stage (12). As the air permeable sheet (45) has air permeability, the gas is suctioned from the air permeable sheet (45) between the second substratum (33) and the flexible sheet (25). The air permeable sheet (45) is flattened out. As a result, the flexible sheet (25) causes the whole surface of the second substratum (33) to apply a uniform pushing force toward the first substratum (32). Consequently, the second substratum (33) is pushed with uniform pushing force toward the first substratum (32).
