Способ предварительной очистке сточных и ливневых вод, включающий подачу сточных вод, фильтрацию её сквозь установленную очищающую решетку, выполненную в виде набора пластин, задерживающих крупные механические примеси, осаждение их к основанию решетки, отличающийся тем, что воду подают в приемный лоток с перфорированным дном, а очищающую решетку устанавливают шарнирно параллельно стенке приемного лотка, а для очистки перфорированного дна от мусора периодически производят крупнопузырчатую его аэрацию, а для очистки решетки производят каскадную аэрацию путем подачи воздуха в аэраторы пронизывающие пластины решетки, вызывая подъем уровня поверхности воды и перетекание ее вместе с мусором через верхний край приемного лотка.1.
