Abstract

Disclosed is a color filter comprising pixels each containing a pigment dispersion composition and a graft polymer compound. The pigment dispersion composition contains organic pigment particles produced by mixing a solution, which is obtained by dissolving an organic pigment into a good solvent, with a poor solvent for the organic pigment which is compatible with the good solvent.
