Abstract

In a processing apparatus (10) for processing a work (1) while stopping the work (1) intermittently without affecting conveyance of the work (1) at respective processing positions (Pn-1, Pn+1) in the upstream and downstream, positional precision in processing of the work (1) is enhanced. The processing system comprises a processing section (20) provided at a processing position (Pn) in order to perform processing to the work (1) while the work (1) is stopped, an incoming side buffer mechanism (34a) provided in the upstream of the processing section (20) in a predetermined direction and capable of storing the works (1) conveyed from the upstream; an outgoing side buffer mechanism (34b) provided in the downstream of the processing section (20) in the predetermined direction and capable of storing the processed works (1) which are to be conveyed downstream; and a delivery section (31b) for delivering the works (1) stored by the incoming side buffer mechanism (34a) to the processing section (20).
