Abstract
A dismantling method of a display unit comprising a PDP (10), a chassis member (44) arranged on the backside of the PDP (10), and a circuit board (45) secured to a fixing member (48) provided in the chassis member (44) comprises a step for cutting and dividing the circuit board (45), and a step for cutting the fixing member (48) securing the circuit board (45) following to the step for dividing the circuit board. A dismantling device is provided with a circuit board dividing portion (53) and a fixing member cutting portion (54).
