Abstract

A data bus line (30) is divided into at least first and second data bus lines (34 and 36). A first sampling circuit (50) is connected with a first data bus line (34), and a second sampling circuit (50) is connected with a second data bus line (36). The first and second data bus lines (34 and 36) are equipped, at their display data input portions, with switching circuits (5 and 6), which can switch the feed of display data and that of a signal at a constant potential to the respective data bus lines (34 and 36) provided with the switching circuits (5 and 6). As a result, the stray capacity and the charge/discharge current of the data bus lines are reduced by the simple constitution while suppressing the cost rise of a driver.
