Abstract

This aims to provide a relay connector which can connect and disconnect both a terminal (20a) and a ground electrode (20b) electrically in a manner to correspond to a thin-wire coaxial connector (20). A first clip member (10) of a conducting material and a second clip member (12) of an insulating material are made freely rockable, and a coil spring (16) is compressed on one side of a rocking support pin (14) so that its elastic force urges the other side elastically to close. The first clip member (10) is formed to have a guide groove (10a), by which the thin-wire coaxial connector (20) is positioned when it is fitted and inserted therein. A circuit substrate (18) is arranged on the second clip member (12). A probe (22) is so arranged in the second clip member (12) that its one end abuts against the terminal (20a) of the thin-wire coaxial connector (20) fitted and inserted in the guide groove (10a) whereas its other end abuts against the circuit pattern of the circuit substrate (18). A spring connector (24) is so arranged in the second clip member (12) that its one end abuts against the first clip member (10) whereas its other end abuts against the ground pattern of the circuit substrate (18).
