Abstract

The present invention discloses methods for cellular-device telecommunication using Internet telephony, the method including the steps of: providing access to a site server from a cellular device, wherein the site server is configured to place calls via an internet; sending a message from the cellular device to the site server, the message including a phone number of an intended-party device; and establishing a communication channel via the internet, by the site server, using the phone number, between the cellular device and the intended-party device. Preferably, the message further includes at least one detail selected from the group consisting of: an identification of the cellular device, an identification of a user of the cellular device, and a name of an intended party. Preferably, the site server uses voice-over-IP to establish the communication channel. Preferably, the step of establishing includes calling the cellular device upon placing a call to the intended-party device.
