Abstract

Verfahren zur Erstellung und Präsentation von Schichtbildern, die aus einem Satz von Volumendaten generiert werden, wobei die Volumendaten mit einem tomographischen Aufnahmegerät, beispielsweise mit einem „cone beam CT' Gerät, aufgenommen sind und den Kieferbereich eines Patienten repräsentieren, wobei den Volumendaten Planungsdaten zugeordnet sind, welche die Lage eines in den Kiefer einzusetzenden und eine Implantatachse aufweisenden Implantats beschreiben, wobei ein an eine Panoramakurve oder eine Panoramafläche angepasstes Koordinatensystem definiert wird, das von den rechtwinklig aufeinanderstehenden Vektoren u, v, w aufgespannt wird, wobei für die Erstellung und Präsentation eines Schichtbildes eine Darstellungsebene gewählt wird, die ein durch die Planungsdaten beschriebenes Implantat schneidet, wobei in einem ersten Fall der v Vektor orthogonal auf der Panoramafläche und/oder der Panoramakurve steht und die Implantatachse in einem Referenzpunkt schneidet, wobei der Referenzpunkt als Ursprung des Koordinatensystems gewählt wird, wobei der durch den Referenzpunkt verlaufende w-Vektor so gekippt wird, dass die Implantatachse in der v,w-Ebene liegt, wobei die v,w-Ebene eine erste Basisebene bildet und wobei eine zur ersten Basisebene parallele Darstellungsebene gewählt wird, wobei in einem zweiten Fall der u Vektor die Implantatachse in einem Referenzpunkt schneidet und parallel zur Tangentialen an die Panoramakurve im Lotpunkt des Referenzpunktes auf der Panoramakurve ist, wobei der w-Vektor des Koordinatensystems so gekippt wird, dass die Implantatachse in der u,w-Ebene liegt, wobei die u,w-Ebene eine zweite Basisebene bildet und wobei eine zur zweiten Basisebene parallele Darstellungsebene gewählt wird.
