Abstract

　サトウキビに施すことにより、収穫後の搾汁液からの糖生産量を増大し、登熟を促進して収穫適期に達していないサトウキビからも適期に収穫したサトウキビと同様の糖収量を得ることを可能にする、下記一般式（Ｉ）［Ａは酸素原子、硫黄原子又はヒドロキシメチレン基、Ｙは遊離形若しくは塩形のカルボキシル基、アルキルオキシカルボニル基、ハロゲン化メチルスルホニルアミノ基又はジフェニルメチリデンイミノオキシカルボニル基であり、Ｒはハロゲン原子、アルキル基、ヒドロキシ、アルコキシ又はアルコキシイミノアルキル基又は４，６‐ジメトキシピリミジン‐２‐イルオキシ基であり、ＹとＲはたがいに結合して基－Ｃ（＝Ｏ）－Ｏ－ＣＨ（ＣＨ３）－を形成してもよい］で表わされる化合物の少なくとも１種からなるサトウキビ糖度向上剤を提供する。
