Abstract

An accumulator for supercritical refrigeration cycle in which a liquid refrigerant storage space can be secured sufficiently in the lower layer within the main body and the number of components constituting a drying material layer can be reduced. The accumulator for supercritical refrigeration cycle comprises a head portion (12) closing the upper surface of a container body (11), a refrigerant suction pipe (13) for introducing gas/liquid mixture refrigerant from an evaporator, a pipe (14) for delivering gas refrigerant to a compressor, and a drying agent layer (15) set in the container body (11) and removing moisture from the introduced gas/liquid mixture refrigerant wherein the drying agent layer (15) is set in the dead space of the head portion (12), and a planar member (18) for stabilizing gas/liquid separation and the liquid level of liquid refrigerant is provided at a position for separating the internal space of the container body (11) into an upper layer (16) and a lower layer (17).
