Abstract

The invention relates to a light guide device (10; 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80) having a light guide element (12), which is delimited by a first main surface (14) and a second main surface (22) that is spaced parallel to the first main surface, and having a reflection device (24), which is arranged on the side of the second main surface (22) of the light guide element (12) and with which light can be reflected in at least the direction of the inside of the light guide element (12). The reflection device (24) comprises material islands (26) made of a preferably transparent reflective material. The invention further relates to an illumination device (42; 100) comprising a light guide device (10; 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80) of said kind and to a method for the production of the light guide device (10; 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80).
