Abstract

 多拠点接続時の臨場感を向上させつつ、多拠点接続装置での演算負荷を減らすことが可能になるようにする。  2つ以上の音信号がダウンミックスされた音響信号が符号化された第1のダウンミックス音響信号と、当該第1のダウンミックス音響信号から前記2つ以上の音信号を取得するための拡張信号とが含まれる符号化信号を2つ以上入力する入力部と、前記入力部によって入力された各符号化信号に基いて、前記各第1のダウンミックス音響信号が取得される第2のダウンミックス音響信号と、当該第2のダウンミックス音響信号から前記各第1のダウンミックス音響信号を取得するための拡張信号とを生成し、生成された当該第2のダウンミックス音響信号と、生成された当該拡張信号と、入力された前記各符号化信号の各拡張信号とが含まれる符号化信号を生成する符号化信号生成部と、生成された当該符号化信号を出力する出力部とを備えるストリーム合成装置が構成される。
