Abstract
An indoor unit of an air conditioning apparatus is provided with suction ports (2a, 2b) for sucking indoor air; a pre-filter (5) for removing dusts contained in the air sucked through the suction ports (2a, 2b); a heat exchanger (6) for exchanging heat between the sucked air; an indoor fan (8) for transferring the air whose heat is exchanged by the heat exchanger (6); a blowout port (10) for blowing out the air sent from the indoor fan (8); and a main channel (20) which communicates the suction ports (2a, 2b) with a blowout port (10). The indoor unit is also provided with a bypass channel (22) for bypassing the main channel (20); a partitioning wall (46c) for separating the bypass channel (22) from the main channel (20); and a static atomizing device (18) arranged in the bypass channel (22) for generating static mist.
