Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Windkraftanlage, insbesondere zur Umwandlung von Windenergie in elektrische Energie, welche wenigstens einen Rotor mit wenigstens einem Rotorblatt, welches im Wesentlichen die umzuwandelnde Windenergie aufnimmt, wenigstens einen Maschinenträger, mit dem der Rotor drehbar verbunden ist, einen Turm, auf dem der Maschinenträger windrichtungsabhängig um eine vertikale Achse des Turms drehbar gelagert ist, ein wenigstens ein Lagerpartnerpaar aufweisendes Lager, mittels dessen die Lagerung des Maschinenträgers auf dem Turm erfolgt, aufweist, wobei die Lagerpartner veränderlich beabstandbar sind und der durch ein Beabstanden entstehende Zwischenraum mit einem gasförmigen oder flüssigen Medium gefüllt ist.
