This invention relates to a training device for stimulating at least part of the body of a living creature by means of oscillation. The training device comprises a base frame, a oscillating member, driving means for oscillating the oscillating member relative to the base frame, which driving means are connected to the base frame and the oscillating member, and information display means which are connected to the base frame.
A problem of said known training device is that a user during use of the training device often is not able to read the information of the information display means. Because of this, the user is for example not able to perform the displayed exercises in the right way or to read the displayed safety instructions of the training device.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a solution to the above mentioned problem. This problem is solved by a training device wherein the information display means are connected to the base frame via at least one damping device, which at least one damping device is configured to damp the transfer of vibrations of the base frame to the information display means. In use the drive means drive the oscillating member such that said member oscillates. The drive means are also connected to the base frame of the training device. Because of this, the driving means in use create a vibration in the base frame. Due to the vibration of the base frame, the information display means, which are connected to said base frame, vibrate also. As a result of the vibration movements of the information display means, the on said display means displayed information becomes unclear and vague for the user of the training device. Because of this, the user will in many cases not be able to read the information of the information display means. By connecting the information display means via at least one damping device to the base frame, the at least one damping device damps the transfer of the vibrations of the base frame to the information display means.
