Abstract
A photoelectrode having a structure suitable for sealing using a light-curing resin, a dye-sensitized solar cell having such a photoelectrode, and a dye-sensitized solar cell fabricating method including the sealing method are provided. The photoelectrode is formed on a transparent conductive substrate. The photoelectrode is characterized in that the terminal portion of the photoelectrode is formed on the transparent conductive substrate and located outside the portion where a partition for a sealing material made of a light-curing resin used for bonding a counter electrode is to be disposed, the photoelectrode has a connection wire electrically connected to the terminal portion through the portion where the partition is to be disposed on the transparent conductive substrate, at least part of the section of the connection wire passing through the portion where the partition is to be disposed is branched into thin wires, and every two adjacent thin wires form a slit structure for light application. A dye-sensitized solar cell fabricated by bonding such a photoelectrode and a counter electrode through a partition of a light-curing resin and its fabricating method are also provided.
