The invention relates to medicine. The inventive surgical instrument for tissue clipping and dissection comprises a knife and a locking device for placing demountable clamps therein. The locking device id designed in the form of two interconnected surgical haemostatic clamps. Two parallel supporting plates, which are attached to the clamps and to each other by means of axes, are located between said haemostatic clamps. The knife and the lever of the drive thereof are arranged between the supporting plates. The lever of the knife drive is attached to the supporting plates by means of an axis contacting with a groove which is made in the lever. Fixing plates are fastened to each pair of branches. An expansion groove is made in one of the fixing plates and an orifice, the diameter of which is equal to the expansion size of the groove made in the first plate, is formed in the other fixing plate. The knife handle passes through the above-mentioned groove and orifice. The knife handle is provided with a threaded tip, on which a bushing with a return spring arranged therein, is screwed. The supporting plates are provided with holes which are made therein and a pin for fixing the plates in relation to the clamps is pressed thereinto.
