Abstract

[PROBLEMS] To eliminate sync deviation caused by the status of a wireless communication in a display device in which the wireless communication is used to synchronize the operation of an optical shutter with that of a display panel unit. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A display panel unit has a display control part that controls an optical shutter, which opens its shutter part to pass a light and closes it to inhibit the passage of a light, to display, in accordance with a display timing signal, a particular image on a panel part during the opening of the shutter part and a non-particular image on the panel part during the closing of the shutter part. The display panel unit is characterized in that it comprises a time referring part that outputs a current time signal indicative of a current time; and a display timing signal outputting means that outputs, to the display control part, a display timing signal corresponding to the current time signal outputted by the time referring part.
