Abstract

【課題】セキュリティを損なうことなく、接続性を確保し、ユーザの使い勝手の向上を図る。 【解決手段】パーソナルコンピュータ（ＰＣ）１０とテレビ受信機（ＴＶ）３０を、ＨＤＭＩケーブル１で接続する。ＰＣ１０からＴＶ３０への映像信号の送信にはＨＤＭＩケーブル１のＴＭＤＳチャネルを用いる。ＨＤＭＩケーブルの所定ライン（例えば、リザーブライン、ＨＰＤライン）を用いた双方向通信を行う高速データラインを持つ。ＰＣ１０においてはファイヤーウォールの設定がなされている。ＴＶ３０は、例えば、ＰＣ１０に接続されるとき、ＰＣ１０に、ファイヤーウォール解除コマンドを送信する。また、例えば、ＴＶ３０は、ＰＣ１０との間で高速データラインによりデータ伝送を行うとき、ＰＣ１０に、ファイヤーウォール解除コマンドを送信する。ユーザが煩雑な設定を行うことなく、セキュリティと接続性を確保でき、ユーザの使い勝手が向上する。
