Abstract

[PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED] It is an object to provide a loop antenna that has an affinity with a human body while suppressiing loss due to the human body. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A loop antenna is provided with a loop element of an electrically conductive band that is cylindrically formed and a power supply unit. Further, the loop element has a slit made along a cylindrical height direction, the electrically conductive band is made in the form of a loop, and the power supply unit receives electric power from edge portions to hold the slit in the loop element and supplies the electric power between them. A cylindrical space in the loop element is available as a holder, and the loop element is attached to a sleeve of clothes, for example, thereby carrying out transmission and reception.
