Abstract

The present invention discloses a covering that allows the man to go to zero electrical potential when he is insulated from ground during rest. This is accomplished by using a covering to be applied between the mattress and the usual bed linen or to armchairs, divans and the like made of conductive composite materials which convey the electrical charges from the man who is electrically insulated from ground to a gathering conductive point connected to the covering and a ground plate or directly to the ground tap of the local electric system.

Description

Electrically conductive covering provided with ground ta.p for beds , armchairs , divans and the like
In the present technological civilization, man is forced to live in environments affected by insulating materials .
Under such conditions, he is insulated from the ground and then subjected to the action of electrical charges polarizing and bringing him to a high electrical potential with respect to ground.
The electrical, electromagnetic, static charges accumulating to the body are tending to impair the correct electrochemical functionality.
The change of the electrical charge of the human body can be measurable by suitable instruments (field meters) displaying the positive and negative charge accumulations . During the rest on a typical bed, armchair or sofa, a man breaks the electrical contact to ground with a lot of consequences.
The static electrical charges produced by the human body by its simple movement in air and even more enhanced by the synthetic fibres of the clothes reach the ground quickly if there is a connection of the body thereto.
It should be appreciated that the electrical charges of the human body cannot be measured as there are no perfectly insulating materials.
If the human body were perfectly insulated, the charges would accumulate on it until a high electrical potential is reached (greater than 50,000 Volt). During sleep or rest, such high electrical potential causes a natural muscular contraction, thus forcing the bone structure to incorrect constrictions. The most evident, however, less detrimental effect is that the body complains of pains in various joints and diffused soreness in the muscular fibres on. awaking or after rest because of the constant, involuntary stress to which muscular fibres and nerves are subjected. Even the mood is strongly affected by such high potential . The metabolism, "our internal clock", is subjected to uncontrolled alterations without the reference of the electrical "0".
The carrying structure, "our skeleton", is upset without the electrical reference, thus causing unavoidable scoliosis.
To overcome such problem it is necessary above all to keep our body to zero potential overnight. The present invention aims at ensuring such a condition both overnight upon resting on a bed and upon resting on an armchair.
A further object of the invention is to provide a connection between bed, or armchair, or divan and ground easily and effectively. These and other advantages can be achieved according to the invention by providing a sheet covering the mattress or any covering for sofa, armchair or the like made of conductive tissue connected to ground by a suitable net. This solution will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings where an embodiment applied to a bed in the form of covering for mattress is shown by way of an illustrative, not limiting example .
The table 1/3 shows a perspective exploded view of a sheet upon its coupling to the mattress as well as a ground net .
The table 2/3 shows the mattress on which a suitable sheet is put.
The table 3/3 shows the covering put on the mattress.
With reference to the drawings sheet 1 is made of a composite conductive material provided with a metal band 2 connected by a cable 3 to a grounded copper plate 4.
The sheet is positioned between mattress and bed linen, and the cable connected thereto is grounded by the copper plate or any material with high conductance. ., It is also possible to provide a connection 5 directly to the grounding system of the room if parquet, fitted carpet, carpets or insulating flooring is laid on the floor . A groove is formed along the periphery of the sheet containing a conductive cord which connects electrically the ends of the net forming the weft of the tissue.
Connecting means 6 consisting of metal press studs are placed at the four corners of the mattress covering and connected to the seam of carbon wire or other conductive material. This construction aims at providing along the periphery of the mattress covering a conductive cord connecting the ends of the conductive net to the four gathering metal stitches.
The ground cable is connected to one of the press studs.
The material used to manufacture the sheet covering the mattress is a conductive tissue.
A weft of conductive material such as silver, copper or carbon forming in the tissue a more or less close net is inserted into the tissue of cotton, wool, polyester or a mixture thereof.
The tissue is shaped in the form of mattress covering by v providing an elasticised portion at the four corners for a stable positioning of the sheet onto the mattress.
The flow of the electrical charges from the man charged electrically to the underlying sheet, then to the ground, is caused by the humidity of the air and the man himself. Man lying on the sheet is free from any electrical charge and electromagnetic influences as well. During the rest he is under natural electrical and magnetic conditions, i.e. at zero potential.
The present finding allows the man to rest in his bed at home in a comfortable manner and aware of being protected as if he were on the bare ground, meadow, beach with all resulting advantages.
The present invention is disclosed with reference to a mattress covering but, as mentioned above, it can be extended to armchairs, sofa, chairs and the like, all handiworks treated by the same process giving a bioelectrical compatibility. A general welfare is sensed on awaking as it is reported by a number of individuals using the object of the invention.
The diffused soreness in joints and muscular fibres generally sensed on awaking disappears by using the present invention.
Moreover, all individuals that have been subjected to experiments for about six months are particularly refractory to the attacks of bacteria and viruses. Resting at zero electrical potential gives our organism, which as known is of electrochemical nature, a real electrical stabilization.
All activities of electrochemical nature taking place in the human body are shielded from the always present electrical and electromagnetic fields and stabilized because of the zero potential of the body. Keeping our organism at zero electrical potential during the rest gives us a natural protection such as that of the earth. Our cells are controlled by brain with precise electrical pulses.
It is self-evident that static currents, electrical and electromagnetic fields disturb that precise, delicate equilibrium. Without a reference voltage our cells tend to resonate and to swing at the same frequency of the electrical and electromagnetic fields to which we are daily subjected, thus altering their chemistry. If our organism is kept to zero potential, above all during rest as our metabolism is overloaded, our cell are given the necessary stabilization to contrast and neutralize naturally the electrical and electromagnetic fields in which they are immersed. Formal and structural changes can be made to the solution of the present invention without departing from the scope thereof which is defined in the appended claims.
