Abstract
There is provided a method for manufacturing an electrophoretic display panel in which a display liquid (40) including charged particles (41, 42) is filled in the space formed between a transparent substrate (10) and a backside substrate (20) that are disposed opposing to each other and the display liquid (40) is sealed by sealing agents (51, 52). In the method, part of the display liquid (40) exposed to outside air is primarily sealed by a liquid sealing portion (4) that is liquid and has a lower volatility than the display liquid (40) and a lower viscosity than the sealing agent (52), and then the display liquid (40) is secondarily sealed by the sealing agent (52).
