Abstract

A multicolored solid cosmetic preparation with gradation pattern; and a process for producing the same. The multicolored solid cosmetic preparation is one consisting of a laminate of multiple layers exhibiting colors different from each other, each of the layers constituted of a solid cosmetic composition, characterized in that one of mutually adjacent layers is provided in convex form toward the other layer, and that the layer provided in concave form due to the convex form of the one layer is transparent. The process for producing the same is characterized by discharging, on the upper surface of a lower layer cosmetic composition semi-molten in a shaping mold, solidified at ordinary temperature to transparency, a semi-molten or molten upper layer cosmetic composition having a color different from that of the lower layer cosmetic composition so that the layer of the lower layer cosmetic composition is provided in concave form to the layer of the upper layer cosmetic composition and thereafter solidifying these lower layer cosmetic composition and upper layer cosmetic composition.
