Abstract
A compound cylinder engine includes plural cylinders connected to a crank shaft for rotating a flywheel to rotate the crank shaft, in which at least one of the cylinders is a fuel injecting cylinder for rotating the crank shaft using a petroleum fuel, and the other cylinders are electromagnetic cylinders for rotating the crank shaft using a magnet force of an electromagnet. Here, both the fuel injecting cylinder using petroleum fuel and the electromagnetic cylinders each using the magnetic force of the electromagnet are employed to fabricate a single engine structure, so that problems of increasing manufacturing cost and producing environmental pollution are solved while pursuing substantial practicality.
