Abstract

Provided is a fire-extinguishing mist nozzle comprising first thin plates (13a and 13b) including an opening for forming a swirl chamber (17c) for swirling a liquid, an opening for forming one or more passages (17b, 17b and 17b) to flow substantially in a fluid rotating direction into the swirl chamber (17c), and inlet ports (17a, 17a and 17a) for guiding the liquid into those passages. Further comprised are a second thin plate (14) constituting the inner walls of the passages (17b, 17b and 17b) and the swirl chamber (17c) and having the inlet ports (17a) formed therein, and an orifice plate (30) having an orifice (11) for injecting the liquid. The second thin plate (14) is arranged and superposed at an arbitrary position between the first thin plates (13a and 13b), and the orifice plate (30) is arranged in superposition, or the first thin plates (13a and 13b) are arranged in superposition between the orifice plate (30) and the second thin plate (14).
