Abstract

L'invention porte sur un sel de lithium tel que le carbonate de lithium qui présente un excellent effet inhibiteur sur l'angiogenèse et un excellent effet inhibiteur sur la meilleure perméabilité vasculaire dans un tissu oculaire postérieur tel qu'une choroïde ou une rétine, et est par conséquent utile en tant qu'agent thérapeutique ou prophylactique pour une maladie oculaire postérieure telle que la dégénérescence maculaire liée à l'âge, la rétinopathie diabétique et l'œdème maculaire diabétique.
