Description

Description
DEVICE FOR WASHING LINE OF APPARATUS FOR SUPPLYING BEVERAGE
Technical Field
[1] The following description relates to a device for washing line of apparatus for supplying beverage, and more particularly to a device for washing line of apparatus for supplying beverage capable of using ozone water having an excellent sterilizing and cleaning power and easily applicable to a conventional apparatus for supplying beverage. The description further relates to a device for washing line of apparatus for supplying beverage capable of simply and effectively cleaning a beverage feed line in an apparatus for supplying beverage using ozone water.
[2]
Background Art
[3] Generally, beverages including draft beer are transported by being stored in a beverage storage tank and then stored. The beverage storage tank is usually transported and stored under a normal temperature, where beverages are best drunk at 4 degrees Celsius. The beverages stored in the beverage storage tank are under the room temperature, and the beverages are rapidly cooled and discharged when the beverages are to be sold.
[4]
[5] FIG.1 is an exemplary perspective view illustrating a connection structure of a conventional beverage selling machine, where a beer selling machine is exemplified to explain the conventional beverage selling machine. Reference numeral 10 defines a compressed gas tank for storing and discharging compressed gas such as carbon dioxide, reference numeral 20 is a draft beer storage tank for storing draft beer and reference numeral 40 refers to a draft beer cooling device for cooling draft beer discharged from the draft beer storage tank (20) and discharging the cooled draft beer. The draft beer storage tank (20) is installed with a connector (30) connected to an opening/closing port (not shown) of the draft beer storage tank (20), where the connector (30), the compressed gas tank (10) and the the draft beer cooling device (40) are connected to compressed hoses (15, 35) made of polyethylene.
[6]
[7] The conventional draft beer selling machine is constructed in such a manner that the connector (30), the compressed gas tank (10) and the draft beer cooling device (40) are pre-connected to the compressed hoses (15, 35), where the opening/closing port of the draft beer storage tank (20) is opened, and the opened opening/closing port is connected to the connector (30) in an airtight sealing way. When a discharge valve (45) disposed at the draft beer cooling device (40) is opened, gas such as carbon dioxide stored in the compressed gas tank (10) is introduced into the draft beer storage tank (20) via the compressed hose (15) and the connector (30). The gas introduced into the draft beer storage tank (20) is mixed with draft beer and initially cooled. At the same time, the stored draft beer is discharged via the connector (30) and the compressed hose (35), and the discharged draft beer is rapidly cooled to an approximate 4 degrees Celsius inside the draft beer cooling device (40) and discharged outside through the discharge valve (45).
[8]
[9] When selling of the draft beer is completed in the draft beer selling machine, an electric power supply to the draft beer cooling device (40) is generally interrupted to save unnecessary power consumption. However, due to interruption of electric power when the selling of draft beer is completed, the draft beer inside the compressed hose (35) connecting the connector (30) and the draft beer cooling device (40), and the draft beer cooling device (40) remains exposed to an outside temperature, thereby staling and losing intrinsic taste of draft beer. Even if the draft beer cooling device (40) is made to keep running, the draft beer inside the compressed hose (35) still remains exposed to the outside temperature to allow the draft beer to stale and lose the taste.
[10]
[11] When it is time to sell the draft beer again, the staled draft beer inside the compressed hose (35) and the draft beer cooling device (40) is thrown away, and new draft beer in the draft beer storage tank (20) should be prepared and sold to necessitate wasting a large amount of draft beer. The amount of draft beer and froth remaining inside the compressed hose (35) and the draft beer cooling device (40) is in the range of 500 to 1000 cc. This amount of thrown-away draft beer comes to be a factor polluting water. Furthermore, the staled draft beer may generate yellowish substances which sticks on an inner wall of the compressed hose (35).
[12]
[13] When the draft beer is sold for a long time, the inner wall of the compressed hose
(35) may be accumulated with a large amount of yellowish substances, and when draft beer is discharged by being tainted with the yellowish substances, generation of froth may increase to adversely affect the sales of draft beer. The mixture of the foreign objects with draft beer discharged from the draft beer storage tank (20) may also spoil the taste of draft beer.
[14]
[15] Although it may be possible to completely wash and remove the foreign objects attached on the inner wall of the compressed hose (35), the compressed hose (35) inter- connected between the draft beer cooling device (40) and the connector (30) cannot be structurally cleaned by a user, such that an after-sale service should be separately called for to clean the compressed hose (35). As a result, a little bit staled draft beer may be served to customers until the compressed hose is serviced for cleaning, whereby the number of customers may decrease. Still another problem is that even if the after-sale service is served, the yellowish foreign objects may recur in approximately 2 or 3 days to the disadvantage of the customers.
[16]
[17] To solve such problems of the foreign objects, a technique of a cleaning device of a draft beer cooling device is proposed. For example, Korean Patent Laid-open Publication No. 10-1999-73346 as shown in FIG.2 discloses a technique of a cleaning device of a draft beer cooling device, comprising: a T connector (31) having one end connected to a compressed hose (35) where the other end of the compressed hose (35) is connected to a draft beer cooling device; a first solenoid valve (32) installed between the T connector (31) and a connector (30); and a second solenoid valve (33) connected to the T connector (31) for letting water in therethough.
[18]
[19] However, the cleaning device may suffer from problems of deterioraton in quality of inner walls of the T connector (31) and the compressed hose (34) connected to the T connector (31) over time, because the cleaning device is connected to the compressed hose (35) connecting a draft beer cooling device (40) and a draft beer storage tank (20) via the T connector (31). The cleaning device may also suffer from problems of uncomfortable transportation due to the T connector (31) fixed by the compressed hose (34) and inadequate line cleaning effect due to simple use of water discharged from city water supply facilities.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [56] The present disclosure will now be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which illustrative implementations of the disclosure are shown. These implementations are provided make this disclosure thorough and complete, the present disclosure is not intended to be limited to the implementations shown but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and features described herein. [57] [58] FIG.3 is a memetic diagram illustrating an inner structure of a housing (100) of a device for washing line of apparatus for supplying beverage according to the present disclosure, and FIG.4 illustrates a cross-sectional view and a perspective view of an inner structure of a housing (100) of a device for washing line of apparatus for supplying beverage according to the present disclosure.
[59]
[60] Referring to FIGS.3 and 4, the device for washing line of apparatus for supplying beverage may include a housing (100). The housing (100) is formed therein with a filter (110), an ozone water generator (120), a solenoid valve (160) and an electric power source apparatus (130).
[61]
[62] The filter (110) serves to initially purify the raw water introduced from outside of the housing (100), and the filter (110) may be the one that is used in a water purifier. The filter (110) may be the one used for purifying minute particles or heavy metals contained in the raw water. The present disclosure has an advantage in that the quality of raw water introduced into the ozone generator (120) via the filter (110) can be further improved, whereby failure of the ozone generator (120) can be prevented and an amount of generated ozone can be increased as well.
[63]
[64] To this end, the housing (100) is preferred to be formed with a raw water inlet (140) for letting in the raw water. The outside water may be introduced intothe filter (110) via a raw water inlet pipe (109) connected to the inlet (140), and the water purified by the filter (110) may flow into the ozone generator (120) via a purified water inlet pipe (111). The ozone generator (120) serves to make ozone water including ozone using the water purified by the filter (110) and discharge the ozone water, and the ozone water thus made may be supplied to ozone water supply means (200) via an ozone water discharge outlet (150) formed at the housing (100) to clean the line of draft beer supply apparatus.
[65]
[66] The ozone generator (120) may be an apparatus or a device for producing ozone water from raw water, tap water or purified water. The ozone generator (120) may also include all types of ozone generators capable of producing ozone water by elec- trolyzing water.
[67]
[68] For example, the ozone generator may be the apparatus for producing ozone by electrolysis of water as disclosed in Korean Registered Patent No. 10-564654 which includes an anode for producing oxygen, ozone by electrolysis in water, a cathode formed opposite to the anode for producing hydrogen by electrolysis in water, a solid polymer electrolyte membrane disposed between the anode and the cathode for transferring hydrogen ions generated by the electrolysis, and an auxiliary electrode formed between the cathode and the solid polymer electrolyte membrane, wherein the auxiliary electrode passes the hydrogen ion produced at the anode through the cathode, and wherein a scale is formed on the scale of the auxiliary electrode by a reaction of 2+ cation and OH-ion generated at the cathode, thereby alleviating scale formation occurring on the surface of the cathode.
[69]
[70] Therefore, the present disclosure has advantages in that the line is not cleaned by using raw water or tap water but by using complex ozone oxidation water via the ozone generator (120), thoroughly preventing beer stones producible inside the line and removing all the materials inside the line that may cause food poisoning and deteriorate tastes by decomposing the existing microorganism complexes.
[71]
[72] It should be apparent that most of the conventional studies on ozone and material reactions have been nothing but understanding of chemical characteristics of ozone, and the characteristics have been results obtained mainly by continuously reacting vapor- type ozone (lOOmg/1) of high concentration onto a predetermined material for a long time. But the wet ozone generator (120) developed by the present inventors is adequate for use in raw water or tap water, and is reacted by generating dissolved ozone (0.5mg/l) of adequately low concentration, allowing having a significantly low ozone concentration over the typical vapor-type ozone. Therefore, there is actually no harm caused by the dissolved ozone on human body or material of cleaning device.
[73]
[74] As noted above, the instant disclosure proposes a device for washing line of apparatus for supplying beverage using ozone water, and to this end, the present disclosure may further include an electric power source apparatus (130) capable of operating the ozone generator (120), in addition to the ozone generator (120). The electric power source apparatus (130) may supply an electric power necessary for allowing the ozone generator (120) to produce the complex ozone oxidation water, and the ozone generator (120) to operate by itself. Besides, the electric power source apparatus (130) may include a solenoid valve (160) interposed between a raw water inlet (140) formed at the housing (100) and the filter (110) for controlling flow-in and flow-out of raw water. The electric power source apparatus (130) may further include a pressure-reducing valve (170) to cope with pressure and quantity of raw water introduced from outside.
[75]
[76] FIG.5 illustrates a front view, a plan, a cross-sectional view and a perspective view of an exemplary housing (100) of device for washing line of apparatus for supplying beverage according to the present disclosure.
[77] [78] Referring to FIG.5, the housing (1(J(J) lormed with the filter (110), the ozone generator (120) and the electric power source apparatus (130) may include a raw water inlet (140) for introducing the raw water and an ozone water discharge outlet (150) for discharging the ozone water produced by the ozone generator (120). An outside shape or material for the housing (100) is not particularly limited but economical ABS resin capable of withstanding shocks is preferred for the material of the housing (100). Furthermore, the housing (100) is preferred to be of a small size for easy fixation of parts therein, and easy handling or moving of the product.
[79]
[80] As noted from foregoing, the device for washing line of apparatus for supplying beverage has an advantage of easily and effectively cleaning the beverage feed line using ozone water, where the device includes a filter, an ozons generator, an electric power source apparatus and a housing formed with an inlet for introducing the raw water and a discharge outlet for discharging the ozone water.
