Abstract
A method of controlling a die cushion device (10) mounted on a press machine (1) and having a work placement section (12) on which work (W) is placed and that is adapted to be able to ascend and descend. The method vertically moves the work placement section (12) in correspondence with operation of the work placement section (12) in which work conveyance devices (19, 21) for conveying work (W) move to a work placement height at which the work conveyance devices (19, 21) place the work (W) on the work placement section (12) and with operation in which the work conveyance devices (19, 21) move to a work receiving/delivery height at which the work conveyance devices (19, 21) receive the work (W) from the work placement section (12). The conveyance speed of the conveyance device is increased to reduce a cycle time and increase productivity.
