Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Eingabeeinrichtung für ein EDV-System. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, Lösungen zu schaffen durch welche es möglich wird, mausbasierte Eingabeoperationen bei der Anwendung von EDV-Geräten erheblich zu erleichtern. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch eine Computermaus mit einer Gehäuseeinrichtung und einer Verlagerungserfassungseinrichtung zur Generierung von Steuerdaten die als solche mit der Verlagerung der Gehäuseeinrichtung in eine X- und eine Y- Achsrichtung korrelieren, und einer Handerfassungseinrichtung zur Generierung von Steuerdaten die als solche mit der Position und/oder den Fingergesten einer Hand gegenüber der Gehäuseeinrichtung korrelieren bevor die Computermaus ergriffen wird. Dadurch wird es auf vorteilhafte Weise möglich, auf intuitiv gut beherrschbare Weise Eingabeoperation mit einer Computermaus, insbesondere Cursorsteuerungen in noch weiter verbessertem Maße abzuwickeln.
