Abstract

Disclosed is an unsaturated carboxylic acid grafted polyolefin which is excellent in adhesion not only to plastic materials but also to different kind materials, while having wide usefulness. Also disclosed are a method for producing such an unsaturated carboxylic acid grafted polyolefin and use of such an unsaturated carboxylic acid grafted polyolefin. Specifically disclosed is an unsaturated carboxylic acid grafted polyolefin which is characterized by containing less than 0.02% by weight of a gel which is insoluble in a xylene heated to 140˚C, and having a grafted amount of the unsaturated carboxylic acid of 0.1-10% by weight. Also specifically disclosed are a method for producing such an unsaturated carboxylic acid grafted polyolefin and use of such an unsaturated carboxylic acid grafted polyolefin.
