Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de séparation et de récupération d'au moins un métal lourd et d'au moins un halogène à partir d'un effluent liquide dans un procédé chimique. Ledit procédé comprend les étapes de mise en contact de l'effluent liquide avec une résine d'échange d'anions de type base forte ; et de mise en contact d'un effluent de décharge provenant de la première étape avec une résine d'échange de cations de chélation. Le procédé de récupération comprend éventuellement une étape de régénération de la résine d'échange d'anions par mise en contact de ladite résine avec une solution de régénération de résine d'échange d'anions pour former les métaux lourds et les halogènes récupérés. Pour être optimal, le procédé de récupération de la présente invention comprend également une étape de régénération de la résine d'échange de cations de chélation pour former les métaux lourds et les halogènes récupérés.
