Abstract
本発明は、小型かつ低コストの熱現像装置により、熱現像感光材料を、迅速に熱現像した場合でも熱現像装置内の機内汚染及びフィルム傷の発生が少なく、搬送性に優れる熱現像感光材料を提供する。この手段として、支持体上にハロゲン化銀粒子、有機銀塩、還元剤及びバインダーを含有する感光性層、該感光性層上に設けられた非感光性層を有し、かつ支持体の反対側の面にバックコート層を有する熱現像感光材料において、前記感光性層側最表面の中心線平均粗さ(Ra(E))が120nm乃至200nmの範囲であって、前記バックコート層側最表面の中心線平均粗さを(Ra(B))とする時、Ra(E)/Ra(B)が1.40乃至2.50の範囲であり、前記非感光性層又はバックコート層に分子量が550乃至10,000の範囲の潤滑剤を含有することを特徴とする熱現像感光材料を特徴とする。
