Abstract

 光学的情報記録媒体への信号記録条件調整方法は、試し記録するステップと、品質測定するステップと、パラメータ候補値を選択ステップと、複数のパラメータ値の組み合わせを生成するステップと、繰り返しステップと、最適値として選択するステップとを具備する。試し記録するステップでは、調整可能な複数のパラメータを含む記録ストラテジに基づいて、第1パラメータの値を変更しながら光学的情報記録媒体上にレーザ光を照射して、パターン列が試し記録される。測定するステップでは、第1パラメータの各値に対応して信号品質値が測定される。パラメータ候補値を選択ステップでは、その中から複数のパラメータ候補値が選択され、複数のパラメータ値の組み合わせを生成するステップで第1パラメータの値が複数のパラメータ候補値で置き換えて固定され、第2パラメータが値を変更されるパラメータとして選択される。繰り返しステップでは、これらのステップが複数のパラメータの各々に対して繰り返され、その後、最適値として選択するステップで、再生信号波形と基準再生波形との誤差の分散値が最小になるパラメータ候補値の組み合わせが選択される。
