Abstract

The absorbent article (100) comprises sheet-shaped leakage preventing member (10) including bottom plane part (12) and a pair of side parts (14) upside rising from the right and left sides of the bottom plane part (12) and inside jutting, the bottom plane part (12) and the pair of side parts (14) defining internal space (S) and comprises at least one layer of absorbent (20) containing a highly water absorbent resin and capable of absorbing body fluid, disposed in the internal space (S), wherein there is provided liquid migration structure (30) allowing migration of body fluid from the upside of superior edge portions being portions inside jutting of the side parts (14) into the internal space (S).
