Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Luftmassenmesser (2) mit mindestens einem Sensorelement (7), das zur Bestimmung einer vorbeiströmenden Luftmasse ausgebildet ist. Um einen Luftmassensensor der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, der eine verbesserte Zuverlässigkeit und Langlebigkeit aufweist, wird vorgeschlagen, dass ein Einlassbereich des Leitkanals (5) derart ausgebildet ist, dass die Strömung auf eine Wand (12) hin fokussiert wird, die in einem Aufprallpunkt (13) der Strömung durchbrochen ist, so dass Partikel (16) hindurchtreten können.
