Abstract

Provided is a high-quality liquid crystal display panel wherein a microlens is accurately aligned, and at the same time, removal of the microlens is eliminated. A liquid crystal display panel is provided with a bonding substrate having a liquid crystal layer arranged between a pair of substrates; a resin layer, which is arranged on a surface of the bonding substrate and includes a plurality of microlenses; a supporting body arranged on the surface of the bonding substrate to surround the microlenses; and an optical film bonded to the bonding substrate through the supporting body. The resin layer is provided with the microlenses and a flat section. The flat section is arranged between the microlenses and the surface of the bonding substrate, and is substantially flat.
