Description

DESCRIPTION
PROCESS OF PATTERNED FLOCK APPLICATION ON UNFABRIC PU-PVC
BIALA SURFACES
TECHNICAL FIELD OF INVENTION
Present invention relates to process of patterned flock application on surfaces produced by sequential PVC-PU (polyuretan and polyvinilchloride coating) chemical coating or plastering method and without using fabric in order to be used coating material in ready-made wear, advertisement, packaging, furniture and accessory sectors. Products, manufactured by process of paterned flock application on unfabric PU -
PVC BΪALA surfaces, which is developed according to the invention, can be used in frequency printing in ready-made wears, in outer coating of agenda books, in interior and outer coating of giftware, in pencil covers, in wall coatings and in under-pillow coating of furnitures. STATE OF THE ART
Subject of present invention is to manufacture products such as artificial leather and unpatterned plain flock coating in flock coating machines by known technique according to the process and product.
In production process according to known technique, guide paper of artificial leather with surface coated by silicon is attached to the machine. The paper is plastered by
PU - PVC (polyurethan and polyvinilchloride coating) paste obtained from first knife by plastering method, then the paper is inserted into owen and matured. It is cooled by passing through cooling cylinder. Guide paper is re-plastered by PU - PVC paste from second knife on matured plastic - like PU - PVC surface and the paper enters wet into flocking unit. In this unit, flocked product is matured in the owen and then the process is completed by cooling. By the said applications according to known techniques, only unpatterned plain flocked products have been produced.
In process of patterned flock application on unfabric PU - PVC biala surfaces, which is developed according to the invention, machine is added a rotational template machine and completely new and different product can be obtained by transfering patterned acrylic or PU - PVC paste on PU - PVC film on matured guide paper and by flocking fields only where PU - PVC acrylic paste is transferred.
AIMS OF THE INVENTION
In process of patterned flock application on unfabric PU - PVC biala surfaces, which is developed according to the invention and in developing product manufactured according to this process, followings are aimed;
Passing from plain flocked appearance to patterned flocked appearance
■ To obtain a rich view provided by two tones, namely bright and mat appearance, on surface of the product ■ To create two colors on surface of the product
To obtain a rich pattern on surface of the product provided by two different materials.
To form a new product having feature of patterned flock without using carrier fabric. ■ To reduce production cost, and
To obtain an air - and water - resistant product.

Process according to the known technique is described in Figure 1. DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
In process of patterned flock application on unfabric PU-PVC biala surfaces, machine used in previous technique is added a rotational template machine (Unit) (12). A completely new and different product can be obtained by flocking only fields where patterned acrylic or PU - PVC paste is transferred on PU - PVC film on guide paper matured in first step. Process of patterned flock application on unfabric PU - PVC biala surfaces developed according to the invention is consisted of four steps;
1 - Production of PU / PVC - coated biala 2- Transfer procedure of rotational template
3- Flocking
4- Drumming process
Four steps of patterned flock application process on unfabric PU - PVC biala surfaces developed according to the invention is described below. Production of PU - PVC- coated biala
Machine is attached guide-paper (1) of artificial leather, of which surface is coated by silicone. The paper is SIVANMAK by PU - PVC (polyurethand and polyvinilchloride coating) paste taken from first knife (3), then it enters into owen (4) and cooked. Paper is cooled by passing through cooling cylinder (8) and rotational pattern arrives transfer unit (12).
Transfer procedure of rotational template
Desired amount of acyrclic or PU - PVC adhesive within patterned template (12) is transferred from template on PU - PVC film by scrapper. By this process, wet patterned adhesive is transferred on PU - PVC biala in a desired manner and it is fed continously into flocking unit (6).
Flocking
In flocking unit (6), flock fibers loaded on containers enter into electrostatic field as flock fibers are poured downward by sieves and brushes. During this period, they are sticked into patterned adhesives on the surface of PU-PVS biala coming continously from rotation machine (12) by electric power and thus flocking process is completed. The product is again directed continously to the owen (7) and dried. The product passes through brushing unit (9) and silicon coated paper (10) and rotational flock patterned PU- PVC biala product (13) is rolled seperately and directed to drumming machine (unit). Drumming procedure
Product, coated by patterned flock, exits flocking machines and enters into drumming machine (16 and 17) by passing through siliconated / unsiliconated bath (14) and compression cylinders (15). With courtesy of this process, both undesired flock powders are removed and a softer touch is provided and thus drummed PU/PVC-coated biala product (18) manufactured by patterned flock is obtained as end-product.
