Abstract

An easily operatable projector for presenting material to the participants of a presentation or the like similarly to presentations at which materials are handed out to the participants, enabling enhanced rendering of a presentation by indicating the form of presenting the material, and enabling smooth presentation without interrupting the conference because of hand-out of the materials. The projector is installed on an installation table and comprises projecting means for projecting an image of at least one content by using the installation table as the projection surface, detecting means disposed near the projection surface and adapted for detecting a subject including an operated body movable by the action of the operator, and projection control means for determining at least either the display or processing modes of the image of a predetermined content according to the detected motion mode of the operated body, allowing projecting means to project the image of the predetermined content, and allowing the projecting means to project the image of the predetermined content in a mode that the projected image is moved on the projection surface around the projector body according to the motion mode of the operated body.
