Abstract

 本発明の課題は、排気温度の低い運転状態が長く続くような運行形態の車両であっても、従来より低い排気温度から良好なNOx低減効果を得られるようにすることにある。排気管4の途中に酸素共存下でも選択的にNOxをアンモニアと反応させ得る選択還元型触媒5を設け且つ該選択還元型触媒5より上流側の排気管4内に還元剤として尿素水6を添加してNOxを還元浄化するようにした排気浄化装置に関し、尿素水6の添加位置より上流側の排気管4に酸化触媒9を設け、該酸化触媒9より上流側で排気ガス3中に燃料を添加する燃料添加手段(燃料噴射装置14)を備える。
