Abstract
The invention relates to communication engineering and is used for providing services to a user by an information provider. Said invention can be used in a cellular radio communication system. The invention makes it possible to increase the interest of users in information services and to extend functionalities of services delivered by the information provider. The inventive mobile communication system comprises a plurality of mobile communication devices which are connected, by means of the gateway of a mobile communication operator, to a content provider connected to a billing system, which is linked with a payment system via a protected channel. The billing system consists of a user's payment unit, a user's credit card unit, a user's cash unit and a bonus unit, which interact with a computer. The system also comprises local retranslators, which are designed in such a way as to form signals of the card of any underground railway and to transmit, upon the request of a subscribing user, data relating to the travel via said railway, and has a software which makes it possible, simultaneously with the data transmission to a mobile communication device, to transmit control signals to the billing system computer for withdrawing the money from the user's cash unit.
