Abstract

L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'affichage d'image (10) qui reçoit un signal d'image d'entrée et qui effectue une conversion de gradation avant d'afficher l'image. Le dispositif d'affichage d'image (10) comprend : une unité de commutation de mode d'affichage (16) qui commute un mode d'affichage grâce à une entrée à partir d'une interface d'utilisateur (12) ou d'un capteur de luminosité (14) ; une unité de lissage d'histogramme local (18) qui effectue une correction de gradation locale sur le signal d'image d'entrée ; une deuxième unité de conversion de courbe de ton (22) qui effectue un processus de conversion de gradation sur une image qui a été soumise à une correction de gradation locale par l'unité de lissage d'histogramme local (18) à l'aide d'une conversion de courbe de ton sur la base du mode d'affichage commuté par l'unité de commutation de mode d'affichage (16) ; et une unité d'affichage d'image (26) qui affiche une image après le processus de conversion de gradation par la deuxième unité de conversion de courbe de ton (22).
