Abstract

A pair of guide members (1) having first through fourth faces (11-14) are arranged at the opposite ends of a sheet containing region in the arrow Y direction on the surface of a sheet tray (3). The first face (11) is arranged substantially in parallel with the front of the sheet tray (3) through a clearance (15). The second face (12) is perpendicular to the front of the sheet tray (3) and parallel with the carrying direction X(1) of sheet on the upstream side of a bend and couples the front of the sheet tray (3) with the first face (11). The third face (13) is arranged on the side opposite to the front of the sheet tray (3) while holding the first face (11) between through a clearance (16). The fourth face (14) intersects the first face (11) and the third face (13) perpendicularly and couples the first face (11) and the third face (13).
