Abstract

Operability of a portable terminal device is improved. In a cellular phone (1A), an opening section (7) is formed on an inner surface (6) of a lower case (3), and a key operating section (8) is arranged in the opening section (7). The dimension of the key operating section (8) in the left-right direction in the cellular phone (1A) is smaller than the dimension of the opening section (7) in the left-right direction. The key operating section (8) can move along the left-right direction of the cellular phone (1A) in the opening section (7) by inserting a protrusion arranged on an end surface (8a) of the key operating section (8) into a groove section formed on an inner circumference surface (7a) of the opening section (7). Thus, the key operating section (8) can be arranged at a position where a user can easily operate.
