Abstract

　遠心ポンプは、吸込口から液体を吸い込み、吐出口から液体を吐出するものであって、ポンプ室と吸込口と吐出口とを備えるケーシングと、ポンプ室に配置される羽根車と、羽根車を回転させる駆動機構とを備える。遠心ポンプは、羽根車を、ポンプ室の内面と羽根車のディスクの下面との間に隙間を形成するように配置されている。羽根車は、ディスクの中心に穴が形成されている。ケーシングは、ポンプ室とケーシングの外部を連通させるように構成された連通孔を側壁に備える。このように構成された遠心ポンプは、隙間に気体が滞留しても、連通孔を介して気体をケーシングの外に排出する。このような遠心ポンプは、十分なポンプ性能を持つと共に、始動時に運転不能となることなく、確実に始動することができる。
