- Semi-regular polyhedra and other composite modules Joining various angled pieces can produce some semi-regular polyhedra; four pieces joined together by three of their non-consecutive sides close to form a truncated tetrahedron (figure 2). Joining eight pieces in the same way you get a truncated octahedron, with twenty pieces we can build a truncated icosahedron. Other closed figures can also be generated. The special arrangement of the joints, three positive and three negative on opposite sides of the piece, allows the assembly of all figures using a single type of piece.

Abstract
L'invention concerne un jeu de construction de structures géométriques tridimensionnelles comprenant plusieurs plaques d'une certaine épaisseur qui présentent une forme de polygone régulier avec un nombre de côtés pair, de préférence hexagonales ou carrées. Lesdites plaques sont caractérisées en ce qu'elles possèdent des parties d'assemblage mâles sur la moitié des côtés consécutifs et des parties d'assemblage femelles sur l'autre moitié, les parties d'assemblage mâles et femelles étant complémentaires et permettant d'assembler deux pièces pour former un angle dièdre arbitraire. Les pièces sont également munies d'un élément d'emboîtement qui permet d'assembler deux pièces parallèlement à leurs plans. La disposition spécifique des parties d'assemblage mâles et femelles sur les côtés de la pièce, toutes celles du même type étant consécutives, confère au système une grande flexibilité. Les parties d'assemblage sont symétriques par rapport à un plan perpendiculaire au plan de la pièce qui passe par la médiatrice de la face dans laquelle elle se situe.
