Abstract

A system and a method for computer assisted driving education are provided. In the system a first camera (1) is directed in a driving direction while a second camera (2) is directed in a direction generally opposite of the driving direction.A sensor (3) for traffic data and a processing and storage unit (4) for simultaneously recording and storing signals from the cameras and the sensor are included. A user input device (5) is also included for registering a manual user input from an individual, e.g. a driving teacher, to indicate events of particularinterest, and wherein the processing and storage unit relates a registered manual user input via the user input device (5) with a sequence of camera (1,2) and sensor (3) signals.
