Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de codage vidéo à compensation de mouvement inférieur au pixel comprenant, pour une trame de séquence vidéo entrante, les étapes de : division de la trame en macroblocs et partitions de macrobloc, détermination d'un vecteur de mouvement et d'un filtre d'interpolation, à partir d'un ensemble de filtres d'interpolation, pour une partition de macrobloc, pour estimer des déplacements de pixels fractionnaires de ladite partition de macrobloc, détermination d'un mode de partition pour un macrobloc, exécution d'une compensation de mouvement d'une partition de macrobloc conformément au mode de partition, au vecteur de mouvement et au filtre d'interpolation déterminés, l'étape de détermination d'un filtre d'interpolation et d'un vecteur de mouvement pour une partition de macrobloc comprenant la détermination d'un filtre d'interpolation et d'un vecteur de mouvement qui minimisent une indication de coût de mouvement de codage pour cette partition du macrobloc de trame.
