Abstract
A method for monitoring a track (2), which is constructed so as to include a plurality of supporting sleepers (3) arranged parallel to each other on a resting plane (4), and a pair of rails (5) which parallelly extend along a predetermined longitudinal axis (L) and are firmly fixed onto the supporting sleepers (3) by means of the anchoring members (6); the method including the steps of emitting a light blade (16) orthogonal to the longitudinal axis (L) to intersect the external surface of the anchoring members (6), acquiring an image (20) containing an intersecting light line (21) between the light blade (16) and the anchoring member (6), and processing the light line (21) to determine, according to the same, a value correlated to the degree of fastening implemented on the rail (5) by the anchoring member (6).
