Abstract

 没入感の高い立体映像を提供することにより、視聴者を極めて容易に仮想空間に誘って、従来とは異なる映像体験を味わうことができる立体映像の投影方法及び立体映像の投影装置を提供する。  第1の偏光フィルタと第2の偏光フィルタを配設した立体視メガネを通して見せることにより立体的に見える立体映像を映像投影装置でスクリーンに投影する立体映像の投影装置及び投影方法において、スクリーンは、内周面をスクリーン面とした円筒体とし、映像投影装置は、スクリーン面に対向させて複数設けるとともに、スクリーン面の周方向30°分以下とした立体映像を映像投影装置からスクリーン面の周方向に沿って並べて投影させることにより周方向に一連とした立体映像を生成する。
